About me

Elisabeth Strauss, MSc

Elisabeth Strauss

I was born in 1976, I have a wonderful son (born in 2006).

I am an open minded, curious person with a good sense of humor. I love to spend time with my family and friends and outdoors. In addition to my profound professional training, I count an unbiased attitude, empathy and resilience as important parts of my work. I see one of my strengths as being able to handle crisis in a calm and clear manner. One weakness is that I sometimes think too positively, but at the same time I see this as a strength, because I am convinced that even in a situation that seems hopeless at the moment, it is worth looking for that little spark together.

I spent more than 15 years working in the hotel industry (some time as an employee, most as entrepreneur). 2013 I decided to change my career and to do what I always wanted. I started studying psychotherapy at Donau Uni Krems (extra-occupational) which I graduated in 2019 (MSc). 2016 I started to work as a counselor and mental coach (for business, sports, acting and any other profession where high performance has to be delivered at a certain point). Since 2017 I am as well working both clinically and in my own practice as a psychotherapist.
